Antonia Antonia AntoniaCOLUMBIA, S.C. The officers of the Columbia Police Department were searching tirelessly for Sims and reported him missing on the night of Christmas Eve. They took into custody Taylor Wardlaw to investigate his murder. According to authorities, Eddie Brown (aged 30) is suspected as a contributing factor in the murder. Sims, a 26 year-old male, last saw in Columbia on Dec. 20, at Ervin Street. According to the police report, his girlfriend Wardlaw was notified that Sims had disappeared in the early morning of Dec. 22. A body was located near a creek off Monticello Road Wednesday, and the Richland County Coroner Naida Rutherford has confirmed that the corpse was that of Sims. Skip Holbrook, Chief of Columbia Police says Wardlaw has been charged with murder aswell as possessing a firearm in the accomplice of a violent crime.
