Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd began her journey in combat sports at the time of 14. Following her training in kickboxing, boxing wrestling BJJ and BJJ, she was able to make her debut as an amateur against Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she was just 18. Ladd then went on to win three bouts within a row in Ultimate Reno Combat. All of the fighters she beat were defeated within the first minutes. Then she took on WCFC once more and beat Leslie Rodriguez in a unanimous decision. Aspen defeated Silvia Babaeghian and Maddy Simmons before fighting Cynthia Calvillo at WCFC 9. Cynthia defeated Aspen and prevailed over her with a unanimous decision to put an end to Ladd's amateur record. Ladd rebounded from the loss to beat Roma Pawelek, taking her record to eight-one. Aspen turned professional in 2015. She joined Invicta FC and made her debut. Aspen faced Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11, and defeated her for a 1st-round TKO. Invicta 16 saw her go from Bantamweight to her fight with Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen's superior wrestling skill was able to take down McGill, and she was able to end her third round via TKO (elbows as well as punches). Aspen later fought Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18 in weight catchweight (138.1lb) in the event that Ladd failed to meet weight. However, Aspen was able to dominate Hoy. The fight was won via TKO in the second-round. Her final fight with Promotion, she defeated Sijara Ebanks with a unanimous win at Invicta FC 21. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut in UFC Fight Night 118 in the fight against Lina Lansberg. She was a step ahead of Lina as she pound her down to score a second-round TKO victory. Her dominance continued and she got a huge win when she fought Tonya Evinger at UFC 229 Ladd defeated Evinger by a punch in the initial round, and was awarded a Performance of the Night bonus. The fighter fought for the first time in a major fight at her debut fight at the UFC Fight Night dos Anjos Vs. Lee rematch against Sijara Ebanks. Both fighters put up an exchange of blows that culminated with Ladd beating her opponent by a unanimous vote with both fighters claiming their Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie beat Ladd in just 16 seconds ending her win streak. The third time she fought on UFC in ESPN 7, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya. As a replacement, she fought Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. It was a unanimous decision against her.
